Fernanda Teixeira, founder and teaching artist. Before this studio she taught after-school art in the city’s public schools for nine years.
the studio
a small, messy art school in fox point, where kids from four to fourteen paint, sculpt, print and draw like real artists*
*with real brushes, real clay and a real kiln — and never more than eight kids per teacher.
Seven teaching artists — painters, a potter, a printmaker and a comic artist — every one background-checked and CPR-certified.
